After working in Retail Banking at SunTrust Bank and as a Pension Plan Administrator at Georgia-Pacific, Mid joined Athens First-Synovus as a Commercial Banking Manager in 1993. During his time with Synovus, Mid was promoted to Executive Vice President and was named to the Board of Directors in 2010.
As a former executive and community leader with over 40 years of experience, Mid has a unique perspective of the challenges and opportunities in the rapidly changing business environment. Join us for a discussion titled "Tips for a Fulfilling and Successful Career" with Dan Staley. Dan is a partner in the Human Capital Advisory practice with Pricewaterhouse Coopers. With over 20 years of experience, Dan has extensive experience in the utility HR space, having worked with organizations such as: TVA, Westar Energy, Constellation Energy and Southern Company.
Also joining Dan will be Russell Fields, Director in the HR Transformation & Technology Practice. Russell has a 13+ year consulting history providing business and technology consulting services specializing in business strategy, process reengineering, and ERP implementations for human capital and financial business decisions. Russell’s experience includes leading HCM strategy and process reengineering efforts as well as managing several full life-cycle implementations and system upgrades.
In addition, Stephen Anderson, Manager, will be joining. Stephen has 8 years of consulting experience and has worked on several PeopleSoft, HCM, and HR Transformation related engagements. His experience also includes strategic assessments and roadmaps for HR technology transformations.

In June of 2013, she began her role as Brand Marketing Coordinator at Spanx, the leading shapewear brand founded by entrepreneur Sara Blakely. She informs new product development through consumer and market insights, develops new product strategy, creates seasonal marketing campaigns, product names and taglines, and writes customer facing materials for e-commerce, retail and wholesale channels.
