We are pleased to announce the 2019-20 Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program competition. The U.S. Scholar Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, offers valuable teaching and research awards in over 135 countries around the world. The University of Georgia is home to many Fulbrighters, bringing recognition to the University as a top Fulbright supporting institution. o support faculty considering this year’s competition, the Office of International Education has arranged a series of one-on-one virtual advising sessions to be held on April 16th and 17th with a Fulbright representative from the Institute of International Education. These sessions will allow UGA faculty to ask general questions about the U.S. Scholar Program and to seek specific advice for their applications from the professionals who administer the program. Faculty interested in securing a one-on-one session should sign up online and be prepared to select a time slot. All virtual advising sessions will be hosted at the Office of International Education in the 2nd floor Administrative Conference Room.
