Join us for lunch and a conversation (via Skype!) with Terry alumni who have made the move to the big apple! This roundtable event is perfect if you've landed an internship or full-time offer in New York City, or if you're considering NYC in the future!  Get the inside scoop on where to live, what to do, and how to connect with Terry alumni in your new city! 

Hear from: 

Patrick Klibanoff currently serves as a Senior Associate with KPMG's Strategy Consulting Practice. In this role he researches and advises consumer and retail companies on strategies to assess disruptive trends, launch new products, and expand into new markets. Before moving to New York City, Patrick worked in KPMG's Atlanta Office.  In addition, Patrick serves on the Board of Directors for Advance Atlanta, Inc., the Terry College of Business Young Alumni Board, and New York UGA Alumni Chapter.  Advance Atlanta is a non-profit advocacy organization focused on educating community stakeholders on methods to improve transportation and infrastructure investments.  Patrick graduated from the Terry College of Business in 2014 with a degree in finance and international business.  Patrick also holds a public relations degree and new media certificate from the Grady College of Journalism.  Patrick currently lives in New York City.

Lael Chappell currently serves as a Client Director Willis Towers Watson’s Real Estate and Hospitality Practice. In this role he serves as a liaison between all internal disciplines focused on the coordination of advising public and privately held real estate and hospitality owners, managers, investment managers, and developers from all industry sectors on a wide spectrum of insurance and risk management issues to ensure that the Willis Towers Watson account team effectively meets and exceeds all client deliverables. Before joining Willis, he was with Marsh & McLennan and Zurich Financial Services. In addition, he continues to remain active in the community currently serving as the chair of Mentorship Curriculum and Communication for the University of Georgia’s Terry Business School Young Alumni Board and the Chairman of the Wall Street Alphas Charitable Foundation. Lael also recently completed terms as the President of the National African American Insurance Association of New York Tri –State (New York, New Jersey, & Connecticut), the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the HomeBound Leadership Institute and served as a member of the Board of Directors for MODEL26. Lael graduated from the Terry College of Business in 2006 with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance and a certificate in Personal and Organizational Leadership. He currently lives in New York City.
