Jason graduated from the Terry College of Business in 2015 with a degree in Management Information Systems and the Legal Studies Certificate. Senior year of college he served as a TA for the MIST 2090 business class. Jason was also a Terry Ambassador for the school of business. After graduation, he began working for Macy's where I completed the Executive Development Program, and was a manager for a year at the Lenox location. He then transitioned into a new career opportunity and for the past year, he have worked at Triage Consulting Group, a Healthcare Consulting Company. Here he serves as an analyst working to help hospitals resolve underpaid claims in revenue cycle management.
Trey Cotney currently serves as an Account Associate at Ironwood Insurance Services, LLC. In this role he works with his account management team to market, place, and manage property & casualty insurance programs for clients of various industries. Before joining Ironwood full time in 2014, he was the firm’s first ever intern in the summer of 2013. He was also a Sales Representative for State Traditions, LLC during his four years in Athens. In addition, he is a volunteer baseball coach at Northside Youth Organization at Chastain Park in Atlanta, GA. Trey graduated from the Terry College of Business in 2014 with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance and currently lives in Brookhaven, GA.
Sophie currently serves as the Investment Analyst for Gleneagles Group, an Atlanta family office, where she works with several ultra-high net worth families to provide investment research, portfolio analysis, and customized financial reports. Prior to joining Gleneagles, Sophie was a summer analyst in the Private Wealth Management division at Goldman Sachs. She is a former Terry Ambassador and a former sector leader in the Student Managed Investment Fund. Sophie graduated from the Terry College of Business in 2017 with a degree in Finance.
Jasmin Metso is an outside sales consultant at Paychex. Paychex is a human capital management company, and Jasmin’s primary role is within the payroll sector, so she is responsible for bringing on new clients and maintaining existing accounts. Before joining Paychex, she interned with Target and actively worked as a leasing consultant with CollegeTown Properties in Athens. Jasmin loves to travel and had the opportunity to visit her family in Finland this summer. She also recently started playing the piano… and is beginning to realize it’s not as easy as she thought. Jasmin graduated from the Terry College of Business in 2015 with a BBA in Marketing and International Business and currently lives in Atlanta.
Travis is the founder and president of Butler Properties and Development, a full-service commercial real estate development company with an emphasis on retail development for investment grade credit tenants. Travis has been the president or managing partner of more than 15 companies and partnerships. During his career, these businesses have acquired and developed over 1 million square feet of retail developments and more than 200 acres of investment land. He graduated from the Westminster Schools in Atlanta in 1996 and from the Terry College in 2008. In 2015, he moved his company headquarters and family to Athens, Ga.
