It will make you a better leader, it will help you form deeper relationships and it will help you gain confidence in yourself. If fellow students believe in you, you can spark social change. And if you believe in yourself, anything is possible.

    This program is presented by Antonio Neves, Director of Higher Education for about.me. Antonio is a nationally recognized college leadership speaker, millennial expert and award-winning journalist (NBC, PBS, BET, Nickelodeon, etc). An in demand speaker, Antonio has keynoted at Stanford University, University of Southern California, Syracuse University, University of Louisiana Lafayette, Georgia State University, Drexel University and more. As Director of Higher Education for about.me, Antonio regularly facilitates personal branding workshops on colleges campuses nationwide. A former NCAA Division I student-athlete, Neves is the author of Student Athlete 101. Antonio holds a BBA from Western Michigan University and a MS from Columbia University.

    Hayley Johnson is a fourth year Management Major at the University of Georgia. She began her career with Target when she completed the Executive Internship in stores last August, 2014. Hayley is currently the Campus Liaison for Target at the University of Georgia. Her role includes educating students on campus about Target's excellent career and internship opportunities as well as sharing her personal story. Starting July 2015, Hayley will be working for Target full time as an Executive Team Leader in Stores.

    Terry Talks Behind the Seams with Karen Stein (BBA 2013), Spanx

    Join us for a roundtable discussion with Karen Stein of Spanx. Karen graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013 with a BBA in Marketing & International Business and a minor in Spanish. In June of 2013, she began her role as Brand Marketing Coordinator at Spanx, the leading shapewear brand founded by entrepreneur Sara Blakely. She informs new product development through consumer and market insights, develops new product strategy, creates seasonal marketing campaigns, product names and taglines, and writes customer facing materials for e-commerce, retail and wholesale channels. Outside of work, Karen serves on the Spanx Philanthropy board, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta FJC, and is also a volunteer advocate for the Alzheimer’s Association of Georgia.

    Come meet alum Matt Hene on Wednesday, February 18, 2015 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. A 2003 graduate of the Terry College of Business, Matt holds a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. Matt has been in the insurance business since 2003, specializing in the property and casualty area. Prior to joining Ironwood, he was with Palmer & Cay and McGriff Seibels and Williams, where he brokered and serviced middle market to large risk management accounts with complex insurance needs. Matt's experience includes designing, negotiating and servicing insurance programs in various locations throughout the United States and internationally. He has extensive experience servicing the real estate, media/communications, manufacturing, restaurant/hospitality and staffing industries. Matt belongs to a number of business and industry associations, including AYREP, ARDA and NAIOP. Students can sign up for 30 minute appointments to meet with Matt, ask him career advice, questions about the insurance industry, etc. Don't miss out on a great opportunity to hear from a devoted Terry alum who enjoys helping students.

    The UGA eHub is accepting applications for new business ideas to be entered into their Spring 2015 Business Plan Accelerator. Companies that are accepted will be given $1000 to assist in the development of their accelerated Business Plan and investor pitch.
