    December grads still searching for a job? Join us for this special session with Kim Turner as she offers tips for your job search. Kim F. Turner, MEd is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor in Athens, GA. She worked in education for 17 years at the middle school, high school and collegiate level including several years at the University of Georgia. She currently works with adolescents and adults in the private practice she started in 2013. In her private practice, she sees students and adults for career and transitional issues. Although she loves working with all issues, she is especially passionate about helping people find their natural gifts and abilities, which can lead to a good major or career fit.

    The speaker will be Dr. Boudreau. Dr. Marie-Claude Boudreau is an Associate Professor of MIS at the University of Georgia. Her current research focuses on creating sustainable business practices. Dr. Boudreau has authored articles published in both academic journals (e.g., Information Systems Research, MIS Quarterly, and Organization Science) and practitioner journals (e.g., MISQ Executive, The Academy of Management Executive, and Cutter Benchmark Review). Her teaching interests include data management, integrated software packages, globalization of IS and qualitative research. She was a visiting professor at l’Université Jean Moulin, in Lyon (France) and Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia). Dr. Boudreau received a PhD in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University, a Diplôme d’Enseignement Supérieur Spécialisé from l’École Supérieure des Affaires de Grenoble (France) and an MBA from l’Université Laval in Québec (Canada).

    Delta Sigma Pi BOLD Networking Event

    This semester Delta Sigma Pi, Pi Chapter will be hosting our inaugural networking event, BOLD, Building Opportunities for Leadership & Development.     Join us for a roundtable discussion with Tony Martin, Martin Financial Group.

    Tony is a Principal at M3 Advisors and Martin Financial Group, LLC. He is primarily responsible for the creation and implementation of our client's strategic plans for both firms. He is a frequent speaker and lecturer who enjoys sharing with a wide variety of audiences.
    Tony primarily focuses on integrating the tax and financial aspects of business organizations and their owners. His experience includes a broad range of tax, trusts and estates and general corporate matters including sophisticated estate planning, closely-held business counseling, business succession planning, the structuring of business entities, joint ventures and the acquisition and sale of business interests. Mr. Martin also counsels individuals and families regarding federal, state, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax issues, and the development of complex estate plans.

    Tony is a board member of the UGA Terry College of Business Alumni Board, Junior Achievement of Savannah and the Valmark Member Advisory Board.
