David Cummings is a lifelong entrepreneur. In 2007, he co-founded Pardot, which was recognized by Inc. magazine as the 172nd fastest growing company in 2012, and shortly thereafter was acquired by ExactTarget and then Salesforce.com. He was subsequently named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the deal category. Most recently, he founded Atlanta Tech Village, which at 103,000 square feet, is the largest technology entrepreneur center in the Southeast.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle named Cummings one of the 100 most influential Atlantans, and Atlanta Magazine named him one of the 55 Most Powerful Atlantans. He is a member the Atlanta Rotary, and serves on the boards of the Metro Atlanta Chamber and the Buckhead Coalition. A native of Tallahassee, FL, he earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University and holds an honorary doctorate from Mercer.

In its sixth year, the Professional Women's Conference will be held Thursday, November 5, 2015, and offers a day of networking and learning through keynote speakers, panel discussions and small group meetings with industry leaders, female executives and mentors. The conference has a distinct focus on personal and professional development, leadership and career growth. A networking reception the night before offers additional opportunities to engage and interact with top professionals.

The 2015 Vanderbilt Health Care Conference, hosted by the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University, brings prominent business leaders and policymakers to Nashville to discuss future trends and key innovations within the health care industry. The Conference will take place at the Music City Center, Nashville, TN, on Friday, November 6, 2015 followed by a networking reception that evening. A continental breakfast and full lunch will be provided. For those interested, on Thursday, November 5, there will be a career fair and networking event for students.

UGAHacks is a 36 hour event where students from various backgrounds, experience levels, and universities come together to build something over the course of the weekend. It can be anything from a software application, to hardware, to something completely out there. At the end, projects will be displayed in an expo, judged by panel, and awarded prizes. Sponsors will also be in attendance to meet with students as well as recruit for internships and full time jobs.
