    WISE Up: Job & Internship Fair

    The 3rd annual WISE Up: Job & Internship Fair will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 6-8 pm at the Tate Student Center - room 137. Over the past two years, this event has been extremely successful in helping attendees build relationships with employers and secure jobs and internships in the sports and events industry. This year, we are thrilled to announce a great line up of companies visiting Athens, including: Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Falcons, CSE, IMG College, USTA, and the JCI Foundation! 

    The WISE Up: Job & Internship Fair is sponsored by the Women in Sports and Events (WISE) chapter at UGA.  The event will feature a keynote speech from Dr. Vicki Michaelis, former Olympic journalist and current Grady professor, as well as one-on-one networking opportunities with employers.

During this workshop, we will discuss a variety of social media Do's and Don'ts, including a general overview of good practices and tips for cleaning up your digital footprint!

    Students are welcome to bring along their laptops, tablets, or smartphones if they would like to follow along during the presentation.

    This program is presented by Antonio Neves, Director of Higher Education for Antonio is a nationally recognized college leadership speaker, millennial expert and award-winning journalist (NBC, PBS, BET, Nickelodeon, etc). An in demand speaker, Antonio has keynoted at Stanford University, University of Southern California, Syracuse University, University of Louisiana Lafayette, Georgia State University, Drexel University and more.
