Our program aspires to help students launch successful businesses that give back to society and hopefully generate social change.
Students interested in entrepreneurship are encouraged to participate in our programs and activities.
14:30 Business Experience Teams
Student-led working meetings every Friday at 2:30 where undergraduate students get practical experience by partnering with existing startup companies.
UGA Startups
UGA Startups is a way for student entrepreneurs to have access to some of the most seasoned entrepreneurs in the southeast. Topics include innovation, funding, opportunity analysis, business communications, purchasing businesses, franchising, and much more. UGA Startups events are held once a month at the Terry Executive Education Center in Atlanta to better serve our extended family of people interested in entrepreneurship.

Venture Capital & Angel Investment Forums
Entrepreneurship faculty along with select MBA and high-performing undergraduates represent the Terry College of Business Entrepreneurship program and participate in the most significant venture capital and angel investment events in the southeast, including Venture Atlanta and the MIT Enterprise Forums.
Entrepreneur Forums
These are monthly invitation-only roundtable discussions with seasoned entrepreneurs facilitated by UGA faculty.
Entrepreneurship & Venture Capital Club (EVCC)
Graduate students can meet their individual entrepreneurship goals, develop a program on their own, operate from a leadership position, or simply come to network.
Opportunities include:
- Judging first two rounds of UGA’s Next Top Entrepreneur
- Screening for UGA’s angel investment fund
- Participating in Venture/Entrepreneurship Events/Forums throughout the year
- Five-day trip to Silicon Valley (MBAs only)
