Executive MBA

Distance Learning Technologies

We understand that you have important responsibilities outside the classroom. To provide you with the flexibility you need for your job, your family and your advanced education, the Terry Executive MBA combines traditional face-to-face sessions with distance learning activities. As such, fully 50 percent of the content is delivered using distance learning technologies.

These Internet-based tools provide structure for independent learning while facilitating interaction among participants and faculty. Distance learning activities include electronic presentations, threaded group discussions, and synchronous help sessions. This combination of traditional classroom activities and distance learning takes full advantage of technological opportunities while preserving the value of personal interaction.

Distance Learning Technologies

Content delivery in the Executive MBA program involves a mix of traditional classroom instruction and distance learning.

Classroom interaction allows participants to take advantage of the collective experience of the group to better understand how business concepts and principles can be applied to real-world settings.

The use of distance learning technologies reduces the amount of face-to-face class time in the program, thereby providing participants with additional flexibility to learn at a time and place that is most convenient for them.
