Georgia's flagship business school, founded in 1912

Admissions

We offer two undergraduate degrees in economics: the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) through the Terry College of Business and the Bachelor of Arts (AB) through the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences. The degrees also have different admissions requirements, owing to their different college homes.

BBA Admission

Admission to the BBA degree requires admission to the Terry College. To apply to Terry, students must:

  • Be enrolled at UGA
  • Have at least a 2.60 earned overall GPA
  • Be in good academic standing (have a 2.00 cumulative GPA)
  • Have earned 60 hours overall*
  • Complete the Terry BBA core

*You may apply with less than 60 earned hours, but you must be enrolled in course work to satisfy this requirement.

Consult Terry's Undergraduate Programs page for the details about its admission process.

AB Admission

There is no formal admission process to the Franklin College. Students interested in the AB degree must only meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of core areas A-E
