The Teacher Summer Residency Fellows Program is designed to connect outstanding teachers with the brightest students of the Terry Business Academy (TBA) June 23 – June 29, 2013 and July 7 – 13, 2013 and the Accounting Residency Program (ARP) June 12 – 15, 2013. These programs provide high-achieving high school students with an exciting pre-collegiate experience that exposes them to various aspects of business and college life. Teachers selected for the fellows program will help oversee the programs and engage with students as group leaders. Fellows are provided housing and a $750 stipend for each TBA and ARP session, as well as access to the latest knowledge about corporate and entrepreneurial trends and learning techniques to take back to their classrooms. Group leaders have many duties that include but are not limited to: keeping the daily activities on track by ensuring that program participants are where they need to be at all times, facilitating/coordinating educational workshops and overseeing the business plan competition. Ideal group leader candidates are mature and responsible individuals that have completed at least five years of teaching experience and have the ability to act as a mentor and motivator to high school students. Individuals may apply for one or more of the program sessions.

If you have questions about the application process, please contact program director Randy Groomes.
