Official Program Sponsor
A selection committee will review all applications for the Terry Business Academy and the Accounting Residency Program. Whether you are applying for one or both of these programs, you only need to submit one application. Take your time and be careful with your application to ensure the best chance for admission. Do not rush.
Recommendations
Two letters of recommendation are required. During the application, you will be asked to provide the name and email address of:
- A school counselor or teacher
- A second person of your choosing
You should select individuals who know you personally and can speak to your academic ability, initiative, character, extracurricular involvement, and potential for leadership.
When you initially submit your application, your two recommenders will receive a personalized email within 24 hours. In that email, they will be given access to our online form where they can submit their recommendation.
Save Your Progress
You will be able to save your application and finish it later, if needed. However, some form fields are marked with an asterisk (*) to indicate they are required before you will be allowed to save your progress.
If you need to modify your application for any reason (e.g. essays, contact information), you may do so by logging in with the username and password you created when you submitted your application for the first time.
Transcript
In addition, you will need to arrange for your high school to submit your official transcript to:
Undergraduate Programs Office
UGA Terry College of Business
301 Brooks Hall, 310 Herty Drive
Athens, GA, 30602

Selection is a competitive process. All applications will be reviewed based on the quality of candidates’ essays, interests, demonstrated leadership ability, and academic transcript.
