Biography

James Conklin is an assistant professor of real estate at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business. Conklin has a Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in real estate and a minor in finance from Penn State University. Before earning his Ph.D., Conklin worked in the mortgage industry, holding various management positions. Conklin’s research and teaching interests include real estate markets, mortgage markets and institutions, real estate finance and financial literacy. Conklin’s current research focuses on mortgage broker, lender, and borrower behavior in the subprime mortgage market.
