Keynote Speaker

Mohamed is the founder of VESSOL and a strategic advisor. VESSOL helps organizations with strategic assignment through change. Before VESSOL, Mohamed worked in finance at Morgan Stanley and as a professional athlete in the NFL. Mohamed was a 2009 second-round pick for the Cleveland Browns in the NFL draft and played professionally for five seasons. Mohamed earned his bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in industrial-organizational psychology from the University of Georgia.

While at the University of Georgia, Mohamed was named the 2008 overall team captain, selected as a first-team All-Southeastern Conference and Academic All-SEC member. He is a member of the 2018 UGA 40 under 40 class. Mohamed served on the University of Georgia alumni board from 2017-2020. Mohamed is a graduate of the Harvard Business School after completing the Program for Leadership Development, which functions as their alternative executive MBA.

Aaron Davis

Aaron channeled his competitive drive to go from a football walk-on to a 45-game starter for the Georgia Bulldogs. He took his career to the NFL before tackling the corporate world.

He combines his passion for math and problem solving with his finance and business analytics degrees to help organizations make strategic, data-driven decisions. He is an investment analyst with Link Logistics Real Estate.

Aaron earned his bachelor’s in finance and a master’s in business analytics from the University of Georgia.

Don Addison joined ILA in 2018. Before UGA, he served as SVP for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Addison teaches Organizational Leadership and leads the service-learning projects for the ILA Leadership Fellows; Personal and Organizational Leadership, available to all UGA students; and Change Management for PMBA students.

With over 20 years of experience in higher education, Courtney serves as the associate director of ILA. She works closely with the director to oversee operations. She leads the application and selection process of new ILA students, teaches career development and provides career development counseling. She leads corporate sponsorship stewardship and helps with development efforts.

Stacy Campbell

Stacy Campbell is the Synovus Director of ILA. Campbell supervises faculty and staff and oversees academic programs and the management of the institute. She coordinates fundraising with Terry and UGA Development and Alumni Relations. She teaches Service-Learning Project Management and Organizational Leadership to the Leonard Leadership Scholars, and Personal and Organizational Leadership, available to all UGA students.

Onyedikachi Ekwerike is a leadership lecturer at ILA. Before UGA, Ekwerike founded the Postpartum Support Network Africa (PSNAfrica), which works to improve access to mental health care for parents struggling with postpartum depression across Africa. Ekwerike teaches Leadership and Personal Development to the ILA Leadership Fellows, and Inclusive Leadership, available to all UGA students.

Laura Little is the Chick-fil-A Distinguished Professor for Leadership Advancement and a professor of management. She is an award-winning professor who has taught a variety of leadership and organizational behavior classes at the undergraduate and MBA levels.
