MSIT 7050: Business Statistics

Descriptive statistical measures, basic probability notions, estimation and hypothesis testing for the mean, proportion and variance in a population, linear regression models. Emphasis is on applications in a business environment. Computer is used throughout the course. Offered every year.

Not open to students with credit in MSIT 8000. Prerequisite: Permission of department.
