MIST 7680: Globalization and Information Systems

The interrelationship between globalization and information systems. Technological and social factors supporting and inhibiting globalization. National culture. Managing a global Information System (IS) project, the global IS manager, the global IS professional, working in culturally diverse IS teams, implementing IS projects in diverse cultures. Globalization and electronic commerce. Offered spring semester every year.

Prerequisite: MIST 6080 or MIST 6090.
