Reviews research on state and trait affect variables that tend to serve as independent, mediating, and moderating variables in organizational behavior research. These dispositions, temperaments, moods, and emotions impact the cognitions, attitudes, and behaviors of employees in a number of respects. The seminar will also review methodological and theoretical issues relevant to the study of affect.
