Money and financial markets, emphasizing the evolution and economic rationale of money and financial institutions, determinants of the price level and interest rates, alternative monetary policies, and international monetary relations. Offered every year.

Not open to students with credit in ECON 4030 or ECON 4030H. Undergraduate prerequisite: ECON 4010 or ECON 4020.
