The Terry College of Business Staff Representative Group met Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at 9:00 am in Brooks Hall, Room 327.
Members present: Amanda McKasson (FINA), JK McMullan for Cindy Daniel (Office of Undergraduate Admissions), Mary Evans (Selig Center), Billie West (MGMT), Betty Pharr (Dean’s Office), Stan Johnson (Logistics), Marsha Dickerson (ACCT), Sheila King (Assoc. Dean for Faculty and Research), Marsha Richmond (ILSRE), Donna Sisk (MBA), Betty Baskins (Business Office), Lindsey Bowden for Ellen Whitaker (External Relations)
Members absent: Ellen Cindy Owensby (ECON), Regina Pope (OIT), Melissa Turnipseed (Institute of Leadership), Sebrena Braswell (MIST), Connie Autry (MARK)
The meeting was called to order by Betty Baskins. There were no minutes from the previous meeting. Sally Vandiver said she would put some together and circulate for approval prior to posting on the web.
Betty was trying to get her feet wet and ask for help and for what she was supposed to be doing. She asked someone to send out reminders of the meetings. Cindy Daniel was volunteered for the job. If she did not want to accept the responsibility, Mary Evans said she would volunteer. Betty then asked for a minute taker and Ellen Whitaker was volunteered for that. Sally Vandiver said she would take minutes if Ellen could not do it. Everyone decided they wanted the next meeting to be a breakfast meeting. Since there is no Staff Council meeting in July, it was decided that August would be a good time for the breakfast meeting. Betty will see if the Dean will pay for it, if not each member will buy their own breakfast.
