BAPS Meeting Minutes   9/12/2006

A. Discussion of possible dates for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas events
	1. Halloween party 
		Date/time: October 31 @ 10:30am
		Place: Terry Courtyard
	2. Thanksgiving brunch 
		Date/time: Nov.10  @ 10:00am
		Place: Dean's conference room 
	3. Christmas
		Date/time: Dec. 8 @ ?
		Place: Athens Country Club

B. Halloween Party plans
	1. See (a) above for date, time and place
	2. Dividing of duties is as follows:	
		Regina
		a. Decorations (will contact Nancy if she needs assistance)
		b. Cupcakes - "pull-apart" ghost consisting of 18 cupcakes
 AND "pull-apart" pumpkin (also 18 cupcakes)
Ruth
	a. Carmel apples  - purchase and prepare (slice and serve on a tray)	
	b. E-mail card and flyers (staff notification)
Nancy
		a. Cheese slices and crackers
		b. Mixed nuts
		Tennille
		a. Punch - orange
		Beth
		a. Bag of ice 
		 
	3.  Costume Contest
		a. Have party early so staff doesn't have to stay in costume all day
		b. Prize for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners
			1. 1st place prize will be a nice frame with a photo of the 3 finalists
-frame may have a removable plaque depending on what 					Regina can find 
-frame will be passed on to next year's winner
-when last year's winner passes on the frame, BAPS will give a 				nice, simple frame to the previous year's winner to keep.
2.  2nd and 3rd prizes will be smaller frames than 1st prize but will include a 		picture of the finalists as well and they will be able to keep those.
