The Terry College of Business Staff Representative Group met Wednesday, April 12th, 2006, at 9:00 am in 327 Brooks Hall.

Members Present: (Accounting) Marsha Dickerson, (Associate Dean's Office for Faculty & Administration) Sheila King, (Business Office) Betty Baskins, (Development) Tony Stringer, (Dean's Office) Betty Pharr, (Economics) Joanna Warren, (Finance) Lesley Jones, (Graduate Office) Donna Sisk, (Institute for Leadership Advancement) Regina Lagarino, (Insurance, Legal Studies & Real Estate) Marsha Richmond, (International Business) Sally Vandiver, (Logistical Support) Stan Johnson, (Management) Ruth Davis, (OIT and Marketing & Communications) Elaine Merrill, (Marketing & Distribution) Connie Autry, (Management Information Systems) Cynthia Huff, (Selig Center & Executive Programs) Ian Armit, (Undergraduate Program Office & Terry at Gwinnett) Cindy Daniel. Members Absent: None.

The meeting was called to order by Cindy Daniel. There were no corrections to the minutes of the last meeting and they were approved as written.

Elaine Merrill attended the monthly Staff Council meeting in April. She said that there was a debate about who would serve as the University Council representatives. The question was raised if the additional staff representative should have been Staff Council members at one time. Elaine asked the Terry Staff Representative Group for their views and everyone felt it would be good if the representatives had served on Staff Council at least once. She said that the new HR director came to answer questions.

In old business, although the majority of the Terry staff did not feel a meeting with the Dean was necessary during spring semester, the Dean would like to meet with the staff prior to summer semester. The staff will be alerted to the time and day of this meeting when more information becomes available from the Dean's Office.

In new business, Cindy Daniel will work on a draft of the Terry SRG bylaws to cover the addition of adding a co-chair to the SRG. The draft will need to be approved by the SRG.

The next SRG meeting will be Wednesday, May 17th in 327 Brooks Hall at 9:00 am.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:40 am.
