Members absent: none

The meeting was called to order by acting moderator, Cindy Daniel. There were no corrections to the minutes of the February meeting.

Elaine Merrill went to the Staff Council meeting to represent the Terry College. She said that there was nothing mentioned about getting the minutes of the meeting out sooner. Cindy suggested if the minutes keep coming late, it might be wise to move the SRG meeting to later in the month since much of the SRG meeting is to disperse information from the Staff Council meeting. Staff Council was once again not able to get on the agenda for representation on University Council for the March meeting. The Archway to Excellence campaign has begun. This is the University's campaign to solicit donations from staff.

In old business, there were only 4 responses to Cindy regarding if departments want the Dean to meet with staff in the spring. Cindy will keep it on the agenda until a quorum is met or until Spring semester is over. The committee hasn't met regarding the new website for staff in the Terry College. New employees will just be sent information via email until the website is up and running.

New business, Elaine Merrill has agreed to be the Co-chair for SRG. Her job will be to go to Staff Council meetings. Cindy Daniel has agreed to be the Chairperson for SRG. An email will go out to all of the staff stating that Cindy and Elaine have been nominated and agreed to the positions and asking for staff to "vote" officially.

The May SRG meeting has been changed to May 17th. A discussion regarding a retirement reception for Geraldine followed. The 3rd floor has agreed to spearhead the reception.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 9:45 am.
