Michael Anderson is the vice president for client leadership with dunnhumby USA, a marketing analytics firm formed through a joint venture of the Kroger Co. and London-based dunnhumby.
Anderson manages comprehensive engagement strategies for non-food retail partners, working to drive value from loyalty programs and associated marketing, merchandising, promotion and pricing strategies. He is an authority on optimizing loyalty programs for greater efficiency and leads dunnhumby’s new business initiatives within the non-food sector.
Anderson joined dunnhumbyUSA after serving as director of customer relationship management for Convergys, where he leveraged customer data to enhance services and product development for major telecommunications and express transportation companies, in order to increase their loyal customer base.
Anderson earned two degrees from the University of Georgia, a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Marketing Research. He also has an MBA from Xavier University. He serves as an executive partner on the Master of Marketing Research Advisory Board at the Terry College of Business.
Employing more than 1,300 people in 30 offices in worldwide, dunnhumby serves a prestigious list of companies including the Kroger Co., Tesco, the Coca-Cola Co., General Mills, Kimberly-Clark, Macy’s, Panera Bread Co., PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble.
