Alumni Award Nomination Criteria

A Distinguished Alumni Award nominee should:

• Be a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia
• Hold a position of distinction in business, government, or academia
• Have demonstrated outstanding success in his or her field
• Be a recognized civic leader

An Outstanding Young Alumni Awards nominee should:

• Be 40 years of age or younger
• Be a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia
• Hold a position of responsibility and have demonstrated a record of achievement (promotions, awards, etc.)
• Show a promising future in business
• Be active in his or her community

A Lindsey Hopkins III Alumni Lifetime Service Award nominee should:

• Be a graduate of the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia
• Have demonstrated through dedicated service, exceptional leadership and financial support a personal commitment to furthering the reputation of the Terry College of Business
• This award is not expected to be presented every year and nominations may only come from the Terry College dean, faculty, staff, members of the alumni board, and members of the Dean's Advisory Council

A Dean's Distinguished Service Award nominee should:

• Have contributed in an extraordinary way to the Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia, but does not have to be a Terry College graduate
• This award is not expected to be presented every year and nominations may only come from the Terry College dean, faculty, staff, members of the alumni board, and members of the Dean's Advisory Council
