What is a Terry Ambassador?

Ambassadors of the Terry College promote pride and diversity within Terry and help increase understanding of the various programs available to students in the College. This year, students will be chosen to be the primary student communicators for Terry and to develop their leadership abilities for future professional roles.

These students will represent Terry at a variety of college wide events such as Development and Alumni functions, New Student Welcome Event, career fairs and Economic Outlook Luncheons around the state. They will also have direct interaction with the Terry College Alumni Board and Young Alumni Board.

At all times, the student representatives act as a true ambassador of the College via their language, appearance and activities. The Terry College Ambassadors are selected based upon their academic records, interpersonal skills and dependability.

Ambassadors are required to attend one meeting per month and certain functions as designated by the advisor as the group moves forward. In addition, they should be willing to participate in social and educational events of the College.
