Vision and Goals

Envisioned Future

We envision the Terry College as an integrated learning community of students, faculty, staff, alumni, and business practitioners. This community is united for the purpose of developing leaders for the world's private enterprise system. Terry's undergraduate and graduate programs are highly sought after by business students interested in becoming leaders of organizations. The research produced by several academic areas within the College is highly competitive, in terms of quality and quantity, with that produced by faculty at top public business schools in the country. Our facilities match those of other top-ranked public business schools.

Goals

1. Be ranked among the top public business schools for research
2. Continue to be one of the business schools of choice for high-potential undergraduate Georgians
3. Become one of the national business schools of choice for MBA students interested in personal leadership development
4. Integrate leadership skill development into all undergraduate and masters programs
5. Diversify funding sources and increase overall funding needed to achieve other goals
6. Deepen the international content of courses, programs, and research and increase opportunities for students and faculty to live and study abroad
7. Involve leaders of the business community in all aspects of the College
8. Upgrade and expand facilities in Athens in the ways necessary for achieving top-ranked status among public business schools
