The center also hosts the college’s non-degree executive programs. Opened in 2005, the 33,000-square-foot facility spans three floors and features tiered executive classrooms, conference rooms, break-out meeting space, interview suites and offices.

C. Herman & Mary Virginia Terry
In October of 1991, the College of Business Administration was renamed in honor of alumnus Herman Terry, and his wife, Mary Virginia. Mr. Terry (BSC ’39) held executive positions with several insurance firms, including president of Dependable Insurance Co. In 1990, the Terrys donated what was, at the time, the largest private gift in UGA history. That record gift, along with subsequent gifts, has endowed faculty chairs, summer research support, scholarships and facility upgrades to the Executive Education Center in Atlanta.
Mr. Terry, who passed away in 1998, was an emeritus trustee of the UGA Foundation and in 1986 received the college’s Distinguished Alumni Award. In recognition of her ongoing support as an emeritus trustee of the Arch Foundation, a charter inductee of the Pinnacle Society and a Dean’s Distinguished Service Award winner, Mrs. Terry was presented with an honorary doctorate from the University of Georgia in 2009. She was the 2011 Terry Graduation Convocation keynote speaker.
