
I hold a Ph.D. in Management
Information Systems from the University
of Minnesota
with specializations in
Organization Theory and Organizational Communication,
and B.S. in
Computer
Science and MBA degrees from Lehigh University. Prior to
joining the University
of Georgia, I was on the
faculty of the University of Cyprus and
Florida
State
University and
have also taught at the University
of Minnesota and
Bocconi
University in Milan, Italy.
My current research interests
include the acceptance
of
information technologies
in organizations and in B2C e-commerce; IS leadership
especially at the CIO level;
cross-cultural issues; and e-health,
I currently
serve as senior editor at Information
Systems Research and have served as Senior
Editor at the MIS
Quarterly and the Journal of AIS. I also serve or
have served as
Associate Editor for Information Systems
Research, Management Science, and the
MIS Quarterly, and on the editorial boards of IEEE
Transactions on Engineering Management,
the European
Journal of Information Systems, International Journal of
Information
Systems and Management, and Computer Personnel.
My research has been published in top ranked
journals such as IEEE Transactions on
Engineering Management , Information Systems
Research, Management Science,
MIS Quarterly, Organization Science,
and elsewhere.
